Welcome to Our New Website

Welcome to the official site of the Claremont College Republicans. Claremont College Republicans grew signifcantly last year. The club held regular meetings, took several off campus trips to hear prominent Republican speakers (Congressman Patrick McHenry, Governor Sarah Palin) and to local Republican attractions (Reagan Ranch Center, Nixon Library), did weekly campaign work in the fall, and increased dialog on campus by holding several events with campus Democrats. We hope to continue that growth and expansion this coming year.

The coming months will be an exciting time to be a Republican. The Obama Administration and Democratic majorities in Congress have recently run into trouble because they have dramatically increased the national deficit and have offered a flawed healthcare plan that Americans everywhere are refusing to accept. Republicans have an opportunity to provide better solutions. Our club will bring our conservative ideas and solutions to the debate on campus and the local community.

This website will allow the club to communicate with you and potential members. As we schedule meetings and other events, they will appear on this site, so that you can quickly find them. Potential members can learn about our club and can find information on how to join. We will post pictures from all of our events on the site. You can use the "Republican Sites" page to find links to various Republican groups and organizations, as well as possible Republican internship opportunities. We plan to use our blog and Twitter to keep you informed of club activites and to allow you to express opinoins on issues facing our party, campus, and country.
